hello

Broken Internet, Broken Computer, Running & other Miscellaneous Things

Thursday, August 16

Why hello. You probably don't even recognize me. I'm Jannae. I write this blog. Nice to see you again.

Sorry I suck at blogging. Kinda.

Well, I've been absent because my internet modem decided to die. Then, after 1.5 weeks of no wi-fi in my house, we finally got a new one today. I was super excited until I turned on my computer to write a blog and it decided to be dead too. Worst day ever. It's a dinosaur anyway. I need to start saving up for a laptop.

In other news, I am now the mother of a three-month-old. Calliope gets cuter & cuter everyday. She's the best.

Work is going pretty well. I have the words "graphic artist" on my paycheck now instead of "hostess/cashier" so that's pretty awesome. Sometimes I miss all the customers I got to talk to on a daily basis. The nice ones. Then I remember the stupid rude ones and I'm glad I'm working in the back of the house now. But still, some of the regulars were awesome.

I apologize for the lack of pictures in this post, I'm blogging from my phone. Also, if there are any weird typos I don't catch... Just pretend they aren't there.

I started a jogging program-type-thing. I'd link it here but I have no clue how to do that from my phone. I started the Couch to 5K program on Tuesday. Max totally loves me now. I've only been out twice so far, but so far it's amazing. Running is a great way to have some me-time. If everything goes according to plan, in 9 weeks I should be able to run 3 miles without stopping. Sounds completely ridiculous. I'll keep you updated.

Anyway, this post is turning into a novel so I should probably go to bed now. :) Good night.

  1. Well, that was unfortunate. When you thought you could finally do some blogging with the new modem, the laptops starts being uncooperative with you. At this point, I think it would be best if you get your laptop checked. It may just need some fine tuning and updated parts to run smoothly again.
