hello

ready for my weekend!

Sunday, March 4

In my job my weekend starts Sunday night. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off from work so I'm probably one of the few people in the world that actually loves Mondays. :)

This weekend, I have a couple things to look forward to.

Tomorrow, I have an ultrasound. Super excited just to see the little lady and hopefully see that everything is perfect. Then we (Jason, mom, sister, and myself) are going out to eat for my sister, Jacey's, 22nd birthday. Her birthday isn't really until Tuesday, but we are going to be out of town anyway, so we're going to celebrate early and go out to eat.

On Tuesday, I have my last four week appointment, after that I start going every two weeks, that just means its getting closer. (!) I usually love these appointments because I get to hear her little heartbeat, but since its the day after I get an ultrasound it won't be nearly as big a deal as it usually is. Still, it's always good to find out that everything is going well, blood pressure, weight, and all that.

Now it's time to go to bed. it's only just past ten, but its already way past my bedtime. Apparently, growing a baby takes a lot of energy.

  1. I'm only 13 weeks and I can definitely agree that growing a baby takes a lot of energy!! I haven't been too tired lately (was really tired around weeks 9 & 10), but today.....I haven't stopped yawning. I'm pretty sure I could sleep for at least two days straight...and I got a solid 8 hours last night.

    1. There were some days where I would go to work, come home and take a nap, wake up for dinner, and then go back to sleep. Of course, now I'm lucky to get like 5 or 6 hours of sleep in a row, but it's totally worth it. :)
